Offered exclusively to members and their guests in elegant surroundings is a varied menu prepared by world-class chefs and served by attentive staff. The Main Dining Room with its garden view, offers lunch and dinner throughout the year. Members may relax over cocktails in the adjoining Solarium prior to dinner. Several casual lounges also offer meals prior to and following rounds of golf. An A’la Carte Brunch menu is available each Sunday with full Buffet Brunches on Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and selected Sundays in December. Every Friday night all year round, a popular Club Night Dinner Buffet is served in the Members’ Lounge. Men’s and Ladies’ Opening and Closing Days, Ladies’ Opening Luncheon, July 1st President’s Reception and Dinner, and Christmas Events such as Trim the Tree, the Ladies’ Afternoon Tea, the Buffet Lunches and Dinners, and New Year’s Eve are just a few. Several specialty nights are featured during the year, including: Lobster Nights, Chef’s Tables, Shrimp and Oyster Stags, Barbeque Nights, a Golf Draft and a Wine Tasting evening. St. Charles’ sterling reputation for catering has been well established in Winnipeg for years. St. Charles can be relied upon to provide the best in food, service, and surroundings. The facilities can accommodate groups of up to 300. The Verandah and Club Captain’s Room are available for members’ use. A Boardroom is also available for private meetings and meal service for up to 14. Complimentary Valet parking is provided throughout the winter during the evenings, and is available for private functions as well. During the winter, cross-country ski trails are groomed on the golf course for members’ enjoyment. Cross-country skiing, followed by a relaxing sauna and a hearty bowl of the Chef’s special goulash, is an invigorating way to spend a winter’s day. A Billiard Room is also available for relaxation. There are Bridge groups for men and women that meet on a regular basis.
